A most peculiar test drive comes to an end

I am a huge fan of Tesla Motors electric cars. So I was happy to see that the recent drama surrounding an abortive Model S test drive by the New York Times had a happy ending for Tesla. The NYT has graciously acknowledged an error in judgment and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and gracefully accepted the apology in a blog post yesterday.
