Silicon Valley online education startup lures 5 top universities



A Silicon Valley online education startup founded by two Stanford University computer science professors today announced a partnership with five top universities that will offer free Internet courses.

Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, the Stanford professors who founded Coursera.

Coursera, a startup recently launched by Stanford professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, will soon offer courses through Stanford, the University of California at Berkeley, Princeton, the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania.
