Google Doodle pays tribute to Rosa Parks

A Google Doodle is honoring African American Rosa Parks, who 55 years ago today refused to give her seat on a bus to a white passenger.

Parks' quiet protest led to her arrest  on December 1, 1955, which sparked a boycott led by Dr. Martin Luther King of the Montgomery, Alabama, bus line that lasted 381 days, according to her official website.
