Eye-Fi has pioneered premium camera memory cards that wirelessly transfer photos to the web. Now it is pushing the envelope even further with its release of a four-gigabyte flash card that can upload video directly to YouTube and Flickr. The Mountain View, California-based company's new four-gigabyte Share Video ($79) and Explore Video ($99) cards can upload photos and videos directly to any of 20 online photo sharing and social networking sites. The video card can tag images with locations based on global positioning system (GPS) data. Over 10,000 Wi-Fi locations are available for uploading.
Eye-Fi will also be releasing an iPhone application that allows users to share photos from their iPhone's photo library.
