Editor's Choice: Google launches mobile tracking for friends



Google released software today that allows users of mobile phones and other wireless devices to share their whereabouts with family and friends. Google Latitude is similar to a service from Loopt. Apple's iPhone and phones from Verizon Wireless use Loopt's service. Google has a YouTube video which explains how their new service works.
